POLYSULFIDE SEALANT

Choksey Techseal RDL 911 is used in sealing of expansion, contraction & construction joints in building structures such as, basements, subways, retaining walls, floors, external walls and claddings of high-rise buildings, roof terraces & ceilings especially structural expansion joints running through the ceiling.

Sika® Polysulphide Gun Grade is a cross linking polysulphide based elastic sealant for vertical and horizontal expansion joints.

It is used in both vertical and horizontal expansion joints in many types of buildings and civil engineering constructions such as:

•  Retaining walls.
•  Underpasses and tunnels.
•   Precast concrete elements.
•   Bridges.
• High and low rise buildings. 
• Wherever a permanently flexible seal is required. 

•  Easy to use.
•  Economical.
•   Good UV resistance.
•   Excellent adhesion with many materials.
• Non-sag in vertical and overhead joints. 
• Good chemical resistance (alkalises & dilute acids, petrol, diesel or jet fuel and many solvent and vegetable oils). 
• Permanently elastic.

It is used in horizontal joints in many types of buildings and civil engineering constructions such as:

•  Expansion joints in floors.
•  PQC joints, Precast concrete elements.
•   Bridge deck joints.
•   Vacuum dewatered floor joints / groove sealing, crack repairing.
• Horizontal trafficable Joints, airport runways, car park, roads and culverts. 
• Wherever a permanently flexible horizontal seal is required. 

•  Easy to use.
•  Economical.
•   Good UV resistance & weatherability.
•   Excellent adhesion with many materials.
• Non-sag in vertical and overhead joints. 
• Good chemical resistance (alkalises & dilute acids, petrol, diesel or jet fuel and many solvent and vegetable oils).
